Nail art for 2020 starts with specialist art supplies. The world of nail art can be wonderful, but how do we get to the finished product with minimal mess / time wasted?
Every nail art tool available helps us in tiny ways. So, we need to combine the best tools with good practice to get the best outcome. Let’s hope it makes miniature art a piece of cake.
With 2 anticipated purchases both hugely popular in the nail world:-
Firstly, Mini Mani Moo – Mess no more liquid
This peel-off product is for around the nail area, which will deliver clean fingers after nail art. The product smells VERY strong consequently, there is an inscription on the instruction “ignore the smell as it disappears once the liquid has dried”. Even with this small downside it is a useful product.
Secondly, The Ring Thing
The product is manufactured in the United States. Accordingly, United States shipping price was high to the United Kingdom but provided speedy delivery.
On testing out this item for the 1st time:-
The Ring Thing is so perfect, surprising there are not more dupes on the market. All sections are the correct size, knowing tendencies to waste product when using a normal mixing palette. Understandably, all product saving is helpful when keeping expenses down.
In conclusion, both specialist items will have their place as permanent kit fixtures.
Competition
In keeping with the new equipment, a nail art competition seemed the proper practice.
The competition was created by Nail Harmony UK and Morgan Taylor in connection with their new colours. Inspired by the Disney Cinderella movie due to be released in cinemas.
The rules consisted of either a 3D or hand painted nail look. On researching the history of Cinderella, the story’s foundation is based on a kind girl, overlooked, and neglected but achieves success and recognition. This is the ultimate foundation for a fairy tale, yet it happens to many of us in real life.
The design was based on a colour from the collection titled “If The Slipper Fits”. Using sculpting gel to craft a glass slipper under the UV light. Then moved on to the nail itself to make a cushion inspired look with tassels, a beaded edge, striping tape, and a mixture of polishes. Voila!
